Anti-War Demo
22 March 2003 · Last updated: 18 December 2006
In Bradford today, protesters against the war with Iraq displayed a "NO WAR" float in the city centre. It resembled the Statue Of Liberty half submerged in flames, holding the entire world in its hand, but with a menacing evil stare.
There were also teepees placed around the square, with name tags on the ropes. Friendly music played while children drew on the chalk symbols displayed on the ground. It was a very peaceful demonstration. (Click the photo for a larger image.)
