The above drop-down menu demonstrates a bug with Firefox versions 1.0.7 and 1.5 RC1 on Windows XP. If the options are given a large enough height and there are too many options to fit the screen, Firefox will display the menu upwards, leading to it being cut off. But when enough options are used, a scrollbar appears.
Play around with the source code of this page by adding or deleting options to notice the difference it makes. Also try changing the height of the options.
