Toshiba LCD Screen
10 March 2002 · Last updated: 15 October 2006
Following on from my link in the Archives about a 200dpi monitor from IBM, Toshiba have an LCD screen based on this new technology. (We currently use 72dpi or 96dpi. Print quality is 300dpi, so a 200dpi screen will make fonts and detail much more like print.) Now check these specs and start to drool...
"Toshiba Corp. plans to begin international sales of a 20.8-inch flat panel monitor... It supports up to 3,200 by 2,400 pixel resolution, has a 0.132-millimeter dot pitch or 192 pixels per inch, can display 16.77 million colors and has a maximum luminance of 200 candela per square meter."
