Mozilla Navigation Links

28 November 2002 · Last updated: 15 October 2006

Another trick the Mozilla 1.1 browser has to offer: if you include links in the header of your document to other pages on your site, Mozilla can show these on a toolbar. It's turned off by default, so go to the View menu, then from Show/Hide choose Site Navigation Bar and one of the show options. When you're on a web page that has the right code in, the relevant buttons will appear for use on the toolbar.

I've used some code on this site already. Here's what you see with the toolbar on this page*. A good place to check the effect out is the W3C site. There, you can also choose from alternative versions of the site via the "More" button" such as RSS.

*Update 23 January 2004: Toolbar and layout shown no longer used.
